you could, in theory, double left-click the xcvault file, with a serial key for all products being activated, click okay and then activate just the one product you wish to activate. here, however, you will also see the serial key of all products that are being activated. the xcvault file created by double left-clicking pdf-xchange editor, would therefore be located at c:\program files\pdf-xchange editor\ĭouble left-clicking the xcvault file with one of the newer builds will activate the software that have been enabled to be licensed by the single left-clicking the xcvault file.
this means that if you install for example, pdf-xchange editor and pdf-xchange lite, the xcvault file created would be created at c:\program files\ and not at c:\program files\pdf-xchange editor. Note: the xcvault file is written to the disk location of the applications in question. the xcvault file would then need to be re-imported.
if, for example, your license does not cover pdf-tools, you would then need to double left-click and create the pdf-tools license file, as discussed in the last paragraph here. If you double left-click the xcvault file, in the windows vault, you will then see the license information.
